The Eye Spa Experience
We, as a practice, noted a lack of effective, affordable treatments for dry eye. We have worked over the past several years to build a clinic module dedicated to improving the quality of life of the many patients truly suffering from dry eye disease and its underlying causes. We have developed a team-based approach to treatment. We have found that listening to patients is critical to creating a program to treat their dry eye by addressing the underlying conditions that cause discomfort. A spa environment seeks to not only treat the eyes but also provide an experience that soothes and heals the individual who has suffered from dry eye. We understand the chronic and negative impacts of dry eye on patients’ lives and are here to help facilitate healing of the eyes and the sufferer.
Our vision
Our vision is undoubtedly one of our most important senses and is produced by a complex system, beginning with the eyelashes and ending in the brain’s visual cortex.

Brad Peltzer, O.D., Diplomate, American Board of Optometry
Dr. Peltzer has over 34 years of clinical experience, is residency trained in ocular disease, served as a clinical professor for NSU, as well as adjunct professor for Pennsylvania College of Optometry, New England College of Optometry, and State University of New York. He served as Residency Director at Aran Eye Associates in Miami. He has been a staff optometrist at Sevigny and Associates in Central Florida for the past 8 years. During that time, he has conducted clinical research into the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction, the leading cause of chronic dry eye.
Sonya Alomar, Eye Spa Director/ Coordinator
Sonya has years of experience in patient care and management. She is highly experienced in the various treatment options we offer and is the competent, smiling face you will encounter on each visit. Spa patients have a direct number to reach her regarding any patient needs. Her experience and compassion make a Spa visit an enjoyable experience while being treated.
